Legends have it that gigantic fire-breathing reptiles with wings, lion's claws and serpentine tails ruled the skies. Incarnations of evil, these bloodthirsty creatures of the Middle Ages, preyed on livestock and virgin maidens and hoarded gold and precious jewels in their dragons' lairs. With the advent of Christianity and knighthood, the end of the dragon was near. For these Christian warriors, hunting dragons became a most worthy pursuit.
Our Medieval Dragon ring features a monstrous fire-breathing western dragon carved in relief. Other details include the medieval weaponry used by the knights to defend against these creatures.
